Friends, Flying, Fun. The 12 Edmonton Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadron is the premier program serving youth aged 12-18 in the North-Central Edmonton Area. 

​

In operation for over 80 years, the 12 RCACS invites all interested youth to engage in our no-cost program that instills the values of community service, responsible citizenship, physical wellness, and military tradition in the next generation of Canadian leaders.

Firstly, I would like to take the time to express my deepest thanks to everyone for a wonderful, and successful training year.  My first year as CO of 12 Edmonton RCACS has seen some challenges, but most of all so many successes.  As we head into the summer months, the Staff and I would like to wish you all a fun and safe summer.  Those of you heading to summer camp (CTC) we wish you all the best that camp has to offer and look forward to hearing your stories in the fall, those who are doing summer school, family vacations, or sleeping in and hanging with friends we hope your summer days are filled with glorious weather and uncontrollable laughter.

We look forward to seeing returning cadets on the following dates:

  • 03 September 2025 – Level 4 and up cadets

  • 10 September 2025 – Level 2+ cadets

  • 17 September 2025 – New Recruits and All cadets

Keep an eye on the website and teams for any updates late August.

 

New to Cadets

Registration into 12 RCACS will begin late August, if you have already applied, we have your application and you will be receiving a welcome email in late August.

We look forward to new and returning cadets in the fall, enjoy your summer cadets, parents and staff.

This website is intended for use by the cadets and parents of the 12 Edmonton Squadron, and prospective cadets and their parents, staff and Local Committee. The objective is to provide basic information about the function of the corps/squadron and to inform cadets, parents and the local community about the Cadet Program and various events that will be taking place.
